You Know, I Am Still Amazed!

VLCD 23

Yesterday 179.0

Today 177.4

Loss of <1.6>

Total lost <18.4>

I can't help being still amazed on this protocol!!! This is outrageous...in an absolutely positively good way!

My friends that know what I am doing are amazed too1 But they are also amazed that I haven't cheated. Well, I guess "cheated" is a relative term. I did have half a Micholob Ultra about a week ago, but found I didn't want the rest. And the broccolli, I thought that was legal, until I read Biz's experiment post! BTW, I had read where Biz had slipped in a few adult beverages without disasterous effects!

So any way, why haven't I cheated with sugars or starches? At first it was FEAR OF THE CONSEQUENCES!, Now it's because it will just get in the way of me dropping as much as I can on this round. I would love to be one of those people that Dr. S talks about that has to stop the protocol because they have lost 35 lbs! (But I think I would go on at that point! LOL)

Mainly obviously I am doing this for me, but I do have some outside mini motivators going on. I want to be as thin as I can when my daughter's soccer season starts, because all the other Mom's are quite a bit younger than I am, and they all run togather, yada yada. I get the feeling that they think that I must be "too old, too fat" to do the athletic things that I do. One Mom told me that weight loss was simply about "managing your calories" HA!

Then the second part is "some" of the women that I train for the Danskin with. Ditto the ladies above! I have never been a runner because of bad knees, so the running part is tedious at best. But I rock on the bike! Swimming isn't so great either, but it's ok. I first did the Danskin for me, and I still do it for me!

There is the most positive energy in the world there! And most of the women that I train with are incredible as well! If you have one near you, I highly reccommend it. The motto is "The woman that begins the race is never the woman that ends the race" I will start training the middle of April.

So there you have it! Why is the song "You're So Vain" running through my head? LOL

Ed and Jenn, Hey! yes a Millineum baby is sweet! Yea, and the dancing that I was doing was while I escorted little girls to the restroom, or to the water fountain! My goal this round is "as much as I can! Then I will evaluate my final goal.

Crystal, thanks for stopping by! yes dandelion tea is da bomb! i'm so glad i found it!

NICE LOSS today! You are going do it because of your great attitude!

Yeah, you're going to get all skinny and hot and those ladies are going to start asking you what you are doing! They'll wanna be like you-won't that be great?!

Can you imagine if you told them you did this w/out exercise? Btw, great motto for the Danskin. I've never heard of them before!

Keep on keepin' on...doing great!

Hi Shelly, haven't had a chance to check in on you in a looong while. Glad to hear you're back on track and losing again! Very sorry to hear about the troubles at your daughter's school though. I just don't know what it is about the kids nowadays. They can just be so cruel.
And way to go on the Danskin thing. That sounds just so cool. I'm very impressed that you do this and even when you were heavier too! Now it should be even so much easier for you. You'll just breeze through it...
